The 20th Anniversary of the Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Metabolism (URV–UB) celebrated two decades of educating professionals who are driving innovation in nutrition and health.

As part of the closing ceremony, Dr. Néstor Ibarz, CEO and Co-founder of IngreDiZymes (IDZ) and a graduate of the programme, participated in the alumni roundtable, sharing his journey from master’s student to biotech entrepreneur.

His story highlights the value of scientific education, entrepreneurship, and knowledge transfer in transforming research into innovative solutions with real-world impact.
