Research to Business R2B 2025

Our project was awarded the Research to Business (R2B) Grant 2025 from Universitat Rovira i Virgili, recognizing its high innovation and market potential. The 10,000€ grant supports the creation of our spin-off and the commercialization of next-generation enzymatic hydrolysates and functional ingredients for the food, veterinary, and cosmetic industries.

Premis Gresol for Academic Talent 2024 – IX edition

Co-founders of Ingredizymes and professors of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Begoña Muguerza and Miquel Mulero were awarded the Premis Gresol for Academic Talent in recognition of their outstanding work. Professor Begoña Muguerza was honored for her leadership in clinical and pre-clinical studies on functional foods and for her collaboration with industry on value-added bioactive ingredients. Professor Miquel Mulero was recognized for his entrepreneurial initiative in bringing bioactive compounds developed in his research into the cosmetic market via the venture “SKIMO”.

Santander X Award | University Entrepreneurial Projects 2025

Our CEO, Néstor Ibarz has been awarded as part of the Santander X Award for University Entrepreneurial Projects 2025, in recognition of an innovative project that develops high-value functional ingredients through advanced green enzymatic processes. This award highlights both the scientific excellence and the sustainability potential of IngreDiZymes’ enzyme-based technology platform.

TGN Start-up Award 2025

IngreDiZymes received the 3rd Prize at the TGN Start-Up Awards 2025, recognizing our project as an innovative, technology-driven solution with strong potential for market impact and future growth.
