IDZ – IngreDiZymes participated in the Reus Startups Summit 2026, held at firaReus Events, an event that brought together some of the most promising start-ups from Southern Catalonia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

During the summit, our CEO, Nestor Ibarz, presented IDZ’s biotechnology project, showcasing our approach to developing enzyme-based bioactive ingredients through sustainable bioprocesses and scientific validation. The event provided an excellent opportunity to share our vision, exchange ideas with fellow entrepreneurs, and connect with investors, industry experts and innovation leaders.

The Reus Startups Summit highlighted the strength of the regional innovation ecosystem, featuring nine start-ups from the REDESSA Business Incubator and offering an inspiring programme of keynote presentations focused on entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and business growth.

For IDZ, participating in this event reinforced the importance of collaboration, innovation and technology transfer in accelerating the development of science-based solutions with real industrial impact. Events like the Reus Startups Summit play a key role in connecting talent, research and investment, creating opportunities for innovative companies to grow and generate value for society.
